Cameroonian Friends of Hilary
At Leeds and Leeds University
We have been greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Hilary. Hilary was more than a friend to us, he was a brother with whom we shared some tough times but also some of the best times of our formative years at Leeds. We hope the family may find solace in knowing that Hilary was a great person, who always conducted himself with calm and dignity and shared with an open heart, his wealth of knowledge always with a smile. His presence was very enriching and we are very grateful to have known him in this life. We will miss him dearly as, we are sure, will many others. Our sincere condolences to Hilary’s parents, brothers, sisters and friends, as we share in this grief. We would especially like to extend our specific message to Ernestine and their three children to stay strong and to endeavor to maintain a lasting legacy for our beloved brother by emulating his positive approach, drive, humility and humaneness. The kids in memory of their father should never give up on their goals in life to honor his memory. We wish Ernestine a speedy recovery. Please, remain assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
